I’m Kryss Macleod, and my work focuses on legal education, professional formation, metacognition, competence, and the changing conditions of learning and judgement in AI-mediated environments. I research and develop approaches to teaching that support reflective, rigorous, and future-facing learning, with a particular interest in how students develop judgement, agency, and professional or academic voice. You can read more about me here.
I created this site to bring those strands of my work together in one place and to offer practical ideas, resources, and provocations for educators thinking carefully about teaching, learning, and professional development.
If you are interested in metacognition, legal education, professional formation, or related questions around AI and learning, I’d be very glad to hear from you. And if you have found this site useful, would like to discuss the ideas further, or are interested in collaborating, please do get in touch. You can reach me at k.macleod@mmu.ac.uk.
